![]() ![]() Personally I use the Manfrotto Counterweight.Did you come up with your own method of hanging your paper rather You could use a couple of A-Clamps just to counterweight the end so it doesn't unwrap itself but I recommend getting a "real" paper counterweight. You could use the one I use if you only use two rolls but three 50 yard rolls would likely be way too tight to function.Īlso, because having the free end curl up is a problem with seamless paper you're going to need something to keep tension on the paper. ![]() Just a note, this mount setup above is designed for 12 yard rolls but I believe they make one thats wider and can fit the 50 yard rolls. But even without the carabiner I've never had it unroll. Now with that being said I do lock the chains together with a mini carabiner to help prevent unwanted unrolling. ![]() The side with the chain has a quasi friction break so I haven't had any any issues with the paper unrolling itself. The wall mounts and drive system is Impact Wall Mounting Kit. It doesn't really matter where you get it. Basically you need to find a cross bar that fits inside the paper tube with minimal slop and can support the weight of the paper without bending. I dont use 50yd rolls, I use 107" x 36ft so I can't comment on the additional weight for the extra paper but I use the Impact Cross Pole and it works fine and dont have any problems with sagging. Here's a photo of my studio with the paper rolled out. When I shoot I pull the paper down from where it is hanging and when Im done I roll it back up and it just hangs out there till I need it again. The photo is my background system as well as long term storage. ![]() r/RoomDetective - What can you deduce from a photograph? r/Redditor_Pics - Redditors posting pics of themselves, family, and friends r/QualityPhotos - Professionals, intermediates, and beginners are encourage share their best work. r/PictureChallenge - Weekly topic/category of pictures r/PhonePics - Pictures taken from cell phones r/PhotoCritique - Post a picture and receive constructive criticism/advice for improvement r/GuessMyFirstName - Redditors share self portraits, you guess their name! r/ITookaPicture - Give and receive feedback r/Instagramshots - for sharing your instagrams! r/365PhotoProject - Year long marathon of taking and sharing photos r/PicRequests - Requests and assistance for photo editing r/PostProcessing - Noise reduction, sharpening, exposure blending, image retouching etc. r/Gimp (Free Download Here) - A free image manipulation program r/AmateurPhotography - A place for amateur photographers to share tips, images, tricks, advice and give advice r/Shutterbug - Lighthearted/fun subreddit for discussing photography culture and practice r/Photography - The main hub of all things photography related r/PhotoClass2023 - Join them as they revisit /r/photoclass and more r/PhotoClass - Intro to Photography Reddit style, w/29 lessons r/Cameras - Reviews, articles, blogs, videos, of cameras and gear r/AskPhotography - Ask anything here!
